ICAP Leather Chem SpA is a dynamic and modern company that was established in 1944, during WW2, with the name ACCA ("Azienda Coloranti Chimici ed Affini"). In 1947, the corporate name was changed to ICAP ("Industria Chimica Ausiliari per Pelli"); after that, in 1953, following an enlargement of its manufacturing activities, the trade name evolved ICAP Industria Chimica, and the current name was decided in 1995 with the transfer of heardquarters to Lainate, Italy. Thanks to the experience achieved in 80 years of history and the technical abilities of its management, the company, today, has a leading role for the manufacturing and the marketing of high - quality chemical products for various industries.

Colorantes Industriales was founded in Barcelona in 1983 as a company specialized in dyes for the Tanning, Textile and Paper industries. Its first target was the Spanish market, where today it is the leader in Tanning at the forefront of all multinational companies and a reference company in Textile. But since then it has gone far ahead focusing on internationalization, gaining scale and worldwide presence. Today exports account for 70% of the business, selling to more than 35 countries, through a strong network of agents and distributors as well as local subsidiaries in Italy and Argentina. In 2001 the company centralized its activity in Castellbisbal, on a 14,000 m2 land at 15 km from Barcelona, where a modern plant was built gathering together the offices, the production line, the laboratory and the warehouses.
